Summary

Fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) is now a routine therapy for Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI) following FDA approvals. Access to conventional FMT may be challenging, and more research is needed for its use in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
