Submucosal bowel wall layer thickness predicts endoscopic activity in Crohn's disease

Gastrointestinal ultrasound accurately predicts Crohn's disease (CD) activity by measuring bowel wall layers. Submucosal thickness on ultrasound shows high accuracy in assessing endoscopic disease activity in CD patients.
