Abstract:
This paper presents the design of a mouse multi-site fixation device for acupuncture experiment. The fixation device comprises a multi-modal body exposure system, a neck dynamic adjustment system, and a head fixation system, designed for easy operation and remained fixation. It is not only capable for acupuncture experiment of mouse under non-anesthetized conditions and improving the accuracy of experimental data, but also ensures the full explosion of points on the mouse's torso, four limbs, abdomen, head and face, facilitating acupuncture delivered simultaneously at multiple points. The device is made by 3D printing, which has many advantages as personalization, lightweight, low cost and quick production.
