Sleep disparities persist due to the influence of structural political and socioeconomic factors that shape the living conditions of certain social groups, thereby limiting their opportunities for healthy sleep. This article examines the social determinants associated with sleep, highlights the role of regulations and public policies in reducing these disparities, and analyzes various legislative frameworks aimed at promoting equity in sleep health care across diverse populations.
