Abstract:
To support nursing workforce needs, one organization developed a novel pretransition-to-practice program to support associate's degree-prepared new graduate nurse entry into an accredited nurse residency program. The program experienced 96.7% first-year retention and a 521% return on investment through a hybrid training approach with synchronous and asynchronous training and activities.
