This study developed two mRNA vaccines using a lipopolyplex (LPP) delivery system for HPV-associated cancers. Self-amplifying mRNA (sa-mRNA)-LPP showed superior potency and localized immune response at lower doses compared to non-replicating mRNA (nr-mRNA)-LPP.
