I reflect on my tenure as Editor-in-Chief of Law and Human Behavior, including my attempts to improve the scientific impact of the work published in the journal and to increase the representation of traditionally minoritized groups among those who reviewed for it. I also describe the introduction of the nascent open science movement to the field and the journal, with the journal being the first journal published by the American Psychological Association to offer open science badges.
