Abstract:
This work developed a novel fluorescent sensor based on CsPbBr3@UiO-66 composite nanomaterials for perfluorooctanesulfonic acid (PFOS) detection. By encapsulating perovskite quantum dots within a metal-organic framework, the sensor enhanced the fluorescence stability of the nanocomposite and its recognition capability for PFOS. Perfluorooctanesulfonic acid was extracted using a modified QuEChERS technique and detected in real-world samples. Results demonstrated excellent linearity (R2 = 0.9902) over the 0-5.0 mg/L range under optimal detection conditions, with a detection limit of 12.34 μg/L. The detection rate of PFOS in actual pork, beef, lamb, and liver samples ranged from 93.75% to 113%, with a relative standard deviation (RSD) below 10.25%. This indicated that the method possessed good accuracy and repeatability. The developed fluorescent sensor offers advantages including cost-effectiveness, high specificity, and sensitivity. This work provides a novel detection strategy for the rapid screening of other perfluoroalkyl compounds.
