Abstract:
A major complication of advanced prostate cancer is malignant obstructive uropathy, a condition that can precipitate post-renal acute kidney injury and ultimately require hemodialysis intervention. We present a striking imaging example of a patient with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) and dialysis-dependent renal failure who demonstrated marked tumor regression and discontinuation of dialysis following 177 Lu-PSMA radioligand therapy.
