The physiologic anchorage spee-wire system (PASS) better preserves maxillary anchorage than the Mclaughlin-Bennet-Trevici (MBT) system during early orthodontic treatment. PASS minimizes unwanted molar movement and tipping, crucial for effective anchorage control.
