Abstract:
We report herein a green, efficient electrochemical oxidation protocol for the disulfenylation of anilines, which enables bis(C-S) bond construction without transition metal catalysts or external oxidants and affords the desired bis-sulfenylated aniline derivatives in yields up to 73% with broad aryl/alkyl thiol compatibility.
