Abstract:
A novel, atom-economical, and environmentally friendly method for the synthesis of o-sulfanylarylamines from arylamines and diaryl disulfides has been developed by constructing C-S bonds from C-H bonds under visible-light irradiation in the absence of transition metals, additives, and photosensitizers. This reaction exhibited a broad substrate scope and excellent functional group compatibility. Furthermore, the efficiency of the continuous flow process demonstrated the potential of the protocol for practical industrial applications.
