Abstract:
Herein, an iron-catalyzed decarboxylative coupling of α-fluoroacrylic acids with cycloketone oxime esters is developed. This protocol exhibits excellent stereoselectivity and broad functional group tolerance, providing an efficient approach to cyano-containing monofluoroalkenes. The synthetic utility of this transformation is further demonstrated by gram-scale reactions and late-stage modification of complex organic molecules.
