Abstract:
Fire and rescue services are increasingly employing specialized fire service nurses (FSNs) or nurses with advanced practice nursing degrees. A study conducted a national assessment of the presence of these specific FSNs across France, analyzing the impacts at the organizational level. Changes to the regulatory framework are needed to legislate and recognize the scope of these FSNs' competencies.
