Developing economical and efficient oxygen evolution reaction (OER) catalysts is of great significance for water electrolysis. Anion regulation represents an effective strategy for boosting the OER performance of entropy-driven LDH materials. In this work, an entropy-anion coupled strategy was employed to fabricate silicotungstate-intercalated FeCoNiMn LDH (FeCoNiMn LDH/STA) with an interlocked structure using silicotungstic acid as the polyoxometalate (POM) precursor through a one-step hydrothermal method. Benefiting from the synergistic effects of anion modulation and entropy driven engineering, the catalyst exhibits excellent OER performance, requiring overpotentials of only 227 and 268 mV to achieve current densities of 100 and 500 mA cm-2, respectively, and maintaining stable operation at 100 mA cm-2 for 1000 h. This work proposes an entropy-anion strategy that facilitates the rational design of efficient and stable LDH-based OER electrocatalysts.
