Abstract:
Ligand-modified cobalt-iron layered double hydroxides exhibit improved activity and stability for glycerol electrooxidation due to increased active site exposure, modulated electronic structures, and stabilized metal sites. Thus, an assembled flow electrolyzer enables high-efficiency formate and hydrogen production via glycerol electrolysis.
