Purpose of the Study:

  • To quantify and compare movement characteristics of lower extremity dressing in stroke patients with varying levels of assistance.
  • To identify kinematic differences associated with functional independence in dressing tasks.

  • A retrospective study involving 49 hemiplegic stroke patients classified by Functional Independence Measure toileting scores.
  • 3D motion analysis captured lower garment raising movements, divided into 5 phases.
