Summary

Newly diagnosed preschoolers with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) showed distinct blood markers, including lower mean corpuscular volume (MCV) and mean platelet volume (MPV), and higher lymphocyte counts. These blood profiles may aid in understanding ASD in young children.
