Abstract:
A homologous supramolecular confinement strategy is developed to address the poor dispersion of MOFs and sluggish Li+ transport kinetics in polyethylene oxide (PEO)-based composite electrolytes. Specifically, tetraethylene glycol dimethyl ether is pre-confined in a cyano-functionalized MOF via supramolecular interactions, affording a uniform filler dispersion and suppressed PEO crystallinity to activate fast ion transport pathways.
