Abstract:
GynOp is Sweden's national quality registry for benign gynecological surgery. Established in 1997, it now comprises six subregistries and combines provider reported data with patient-reported outcomes (PROM) and experiences (PREM). Open annual reports and an interactive dashboard (GynOp Direkt) offer near real time feedback to clinics, supporting safer surgery, day case pathways, and wider adoption of minimally invasive techniques. The registry enables research, including randomized trials such as SALSTER, and is migrating to the INCA platform to strengthen interoperability, analytics, and long-term follow-up.
