Abstract:
Few-layer quasi-hexagonal-phase C60-network-supported Bi nanoparticles (qHP-C60-Bi) were constructed via an in situ reduction process. Owing to the enlarged surface area, the strong anchoring of Bi particles by the 2D qHP-C60 network, and the enhanced OH- adsorption capability, the qHP-C60-Bi presents a high capacity of 1187 C g-1 and excellent long-term cycling performance in alkaline batteries.
