Abstract:
Microcystic adnexal carcinoma is a local, slow-growing, aggressive, and cutaneous neoplasm which is extremely rare in the external auditory canal. Although benign, it invades locally and recurs frequently. Complete surgical excision and long-term follow-up are necessary. Misdiagnosis can be prevented with a deep biopsy. Due to possible hearing issues, radiotherapy should be eschewed.
