None:
A new monoterpene, identified as Diaporthoxecin A, along with nine known compounds, were isolated from the endophytic fungus Diaporthe sp. RJ-27 derived from Dracaena cochinchinensis (Lour.) S.C.Chen. The structures of ten compounds were determined using a comprehensive suite of spectroscopic techniques, specifically 1D (1H and 13C) and 2D nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, alongside high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS). Antimicrobial assessment using the paper disc diffusion protocol (50 μg/disc) revealed that compounds 1-6, 8, and 9 possessed effective antibacterial properties against a panel of pathogenic strains.
