We report the synthesis of an oxygen-doped quadruple [7]helicene (OQ[7]H) featuring a contorted pyrene core fused with four oxa[7]helicene units. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction shows a propeller-like configuration. Photophysical studies indicated that OQ[7]H exhibits deep-red to near-infrared fluorescence, a high fluorescence quantum yield (81%) and chiroptical response.
