Abstract:
Multiple primary tumors of the parotid gland refer to two or more distinct primary tumors originating within the parotid gland. They can be classified as bilateral or unilateral based on location, and synchronous or metachronous based on the timing of occurrence. The coexistence of two histologically distinct tumor types within the ipsilateral parotid gland is clinically exceedingly rare. This report presents a unique case of synchronous Warthin tumor and pleomorphic adenoma occurring within the ipsilateral parotid gland, accompanied by a comprehensive literature review.
