Abstract:
Selective N-alkylation of β-enamines with ethers and alkanes has been investigated via a copper-catalyzed C(sp3)-H amination transformation. A variety of N-unprotected enamines, alkyl ethers and alkanes were fully compatible in the reaction, resulting in excellent functional group tolerance, a wide substrate scope and up to 92% product yield.
