Abstract:
Gd-doping of a nitrate-intercalated Co(OH)2 electrocatalyst (Gd-Co(OH)2-NO3-) enables an efficient glycerol electrooxidation reaction, showing outstanding performance (1.38 VRHE@100 mA cm-2), high formate (FA) selectivity (98%) and long-term durability (120 h). Combined Gd doping and NO3- intercalation promote high-valence Co species formation for enhanced adsorption of glycerol/intermediates.
