Abstract:
Ultrathin NiTi-LDH nanosheets (NiTi-NS) were successfully developed for photocatalytic oxidation of amines under visible light. NiTi-NS exhibited significantly superior amine-to-imine conversion performance compared to their bulk counterpart, which is attributed to their abundant active sites and optimized charge carrier mobility. Finally, a plausible molecular-level mechanism involving coordination-activation-mediated photocatalysis was proposed.
