Pathway to Independence - an interview with Jessica Perochon
Abstract:
Jessica Perochon, Research Associate at the School of Cancer Sciences, University of Glasgow, is interested in understanding the molecular mechanisms that regulate post-injury vascular plasticity and the recovery of adult intestine homeostasis. Jessica is part of the 2026 cohort of Development's Pathway to Independence programme fellows, which aims to support postdocs in obtaining their first faculty positions. We met with Jessica via Teams to discuss her research at the intersection of developmental biology and regenerative medicine, as well as her future plans to understand how injured tissues get their original shape back after repair, merging tissue renewal and restoration after injury.
