Abstract:
Carbonic anhydrase (CA) loaded on porous bismuth metallene (Bi pME) enables efficient carbon dioxide (CO2) electroreduction to formate. At a -0.97 V potential vs. RHE, the formate faradaic efficiency reaches 98.79%, benefiting from the high surface area of Bi pME and CA's CO2 hydration capacity.
