Abstract:
B cells can promote or restrain inflammation, yet harnessing their regulatory functions has been limited by a lack of understanding of how to efficiently induce them. In this issue of Immunity, Manfroi et al. identify chemical compounds that efficiently induce stable IL-10 production in B cells and demonstrate the ability of these regulatory cells to restrain neuroinflammation.
