1Centre hospitalier Maurice-Despinoy, quartier Mangot-Vulcin, 97232 Lamentin, France.
Abstract:
Suicide risk encompasses a variety of complex clinical situations that require specific skills on the part of nurses. A process of reflecting on past experiences provides a better understanding of the role of advanced practice nurses in their interdisciplinary collaboration and clinical leadership responsibilities. The implementation of a training program on suicide risk prevention at a medical-psychological center concretely illustrates their contribution to enhancing team competencies.
