[Hematocrit variations in chronic bronchopneumopathic patients during acute blood depletion]
Minerva Medica

Abstract:
Haematocrit values were examined in polyglobulic patients subjected to acute bloodletting and, in some instances, repeated bleeding. A statistically significant fall was always noted after bleeding its extent was predictable. Repeated bloodletting was followed by the establishment of values that were much lower than those observed at the startm of treatment.
