    Background:

    Observation:

    • A 37-year-old male patient presented with symptoms indicative of a neurological deficit.
    • The patient had a history of recent wasp stings preceding the onset of neurological symptoms.
    • Clinical examination and neuroimaging were performed to evaluate the neurological condition.

    Findings:

    • Computerized axial tomography (CAT) revealed a distinct neurologic lesion in the brain.
    • The lesion was consistent with cerebral infarction, indicating a stroke.
    • The temporal association between wasp stings and the onset of cerebral infarction was noted.

    Implications:

    • This case suggests a potential, albeit rare, link between wasp stings and the development of cerebral infarction.
    • Further research is warranted to elucidate the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying this association.
    • Clinicians should consider insect stings in the differential diagnosis of stroke, especially in younger individuals without traditional risk factors.
