    Summary

    Electroencephalography (EEG) feedback temporarily altered schizophrenic patients' brain activity. These EEG changes mimicked those seen with neuroleptic treatment, suggesting a potential non-pharmacological approach for schizophrenia.

    Background:

    • Schizophrenia is a complex mental disorder often treated with neuroleptic medications.
