The review deals with a classification and modern modifications of immunoelectrophoresis: crossed affinity immunoelectrophoresis with lectins and hydrophobic interaction, crossed charge-shift immunoelectrophoresis, metal-chelate affinity immunoelectrophoresis, etc. The modifications considerably extend potentialities of traditional (classical) versions of the method.
