Abstract:
The principles of rational antibiotic therapy in modern conditions are considered. The mechanism of action of the main antibiotics widely used for the treatment of infectious diseases and indications to the use of combined antibiotic therapy are analyzed. Good prospects for the use of immunomodulators and agents inhibiting microbial cell enzymes in a number of pathological conditions are shown.
