Conjunctival and episcleral injection in drug abuse

A young man presented with severe conjunctival and episcleral injection in both eyes without other manifestations. On the second visit, persistent questioning revealed the intravenous use of an over-the-counter preparation with a stimulant effect. Unusual external ocular signs may be an indication of drug abuse.
