Gentamicin tissue accumulation and nephrotoxic reactions

    Summary

    Gentamicin sulfate can cause kidney damage. Patients developing nephrotoxicity showed abnormal gentamicin tissue accumulation before detectable renal changes, distinguishing them from those without toxic effects.
