[Experience in elaborating a model of the activities of the epidemiologist]

The urgency and practical importance of the problem of modelling the activities of an epidemiologist as a medical specialist are substantiated. The method for the development of the presentative professiogram of an epidemiologist is described. The statistical analysis of materials obtained by questioning practical epidemiologists have allowed the authors to determine the final aim of the training of an epidemiologist, to draw up a professional characteristic of a specialist and to make corrections in the aims and contents of training in epidemiology.
