[Dialysis of the ora serrata and retina]

Meticulous examination of vitreal and retinal structures in the area of dialysis provides the basis for classification of the different kinds of dehiscences; also, conclusions can be drawn concerning pathogenesis and prognosis. Findings are discussed.
