Abstract:
Total activity of carbonic esterases was increased in rabbit blood serum, thrombocytes, leukocytes and liver tissue within the first 30-40 days of experimental hypercholesterolemia; later on it was distinctly increased. Simultaneously with the decrease in the enzymatic activity additional isoenzymes were detected.
