  • Histopathological examination confirmed the presence of accessory breast tissue.

Implications:

  • Supernumerary mammary glands require accurate diagnosis to differentiate from other axillary masses like lipomas.
  • Awareness of axillary breast tissue is crucial for recognizing potential pathological changes, such as those seen in normal breast tissue.
  • Prompt diagnosis and surgical management are recommended for symptomatic or aesthetically concerning axillary accessory breast tissue.
