Developing a healthcare technician training course

A six-week training course for healthcare technicians has resulted in very positive evaluations. After four weeks of classroom and clinical laboratory offerings, trainees are supervised by RN "partners" while working in the clinical areas. All 12 members of the first class completed the course successfully.
