Summary

Efficient peptide binding to major histocompatibility (MHC) class I molecules is crucial for cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) epitope immunogenicity. While high binding affinity is necessary, it doesn't guarantee immunogenicity, suggesting other factors are involved in CTL epitope selection.
