Methods and reagents is a unique monthly column that highlights current discussions in the newsgroup bionet.molbio.methds-reagnts, available on the Internet. This month's column discusses some unidentified blue fluorescence observed emanating from agarose gels, and the use of microwave ovens for DNA restriction digests.
