Summary

Serum from chronic alcoholic patients, particularly those with liver cirrhosis, significantly inhibits T lymphocyte E rosette formation. This immune marker effectively differentiates between healthy individuals, non-cirrhotic alcoholics, and cirrhotic alcoholics.
