Summary

The Hayek oscillator (HO) effectively reduced carbon dioxide levels and improved oxygen saturation in patients with severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). This high-frequency oscillation method shows promise for ventilation support and muscle fatigue relief in respiratory failure.
