Abstract:
This article discusses surgical procedures that may be useful in the management of patients with spinal cord injury and is intended to be of practical use to those in general practice. In addition to a discussion of the pros and cons of indwelling Foley and suprapubic catheters, useful reconstructive and diversionary procedures are reviewed.
