[The osteoplastic replacement of mandibular defects]

Remote (from 1 to 18 years) results of mandibular defect repair were followed up in 64 patients, to whom auto- and allografts and implants of glass ceramics were implanted. A relatively low incidence of complications in patients with glass ceramic implants demonstrates its advantages over other materials for plastic repair of mandibular defects.
